M. Kate Allen, also known as Sr. (Sister) Kate, is a published author, professional editor, spiritual director, and ritual consultant with an M.A. in Liturgy. She is also a Novice of the Community of St. Mary of the Annunciation Benedictine Canons.
Sr. Kate was recently received as a member of the Episcopal Church and has a strong
inclination toward the Jewish prophetic voice of wisdom. She seeks wisdom wherever it may be found.
Sr. Kate does not settle for the status
quo in human activity and polity--she believes in the power of metanoia,
turning, transformation. She is deeply religious,
brimming with faith. She aims to love abundantly, richly, and freely. Helping others honor their most precious moments is one of the ways in which she best expresses her love.
